Restaurant La Paloma, what a bless! I’ve visited this beautiful place at a Friday evening, my advice is: make an reservation. It is necessary, believe me. It is a great place with a lovely garden and a great view! As they say it on their website: ‘A place to eat, talk and feel the love’.
La Paloma restaurant is located in a little village in the North of Ibiza, it is called Sant Llorenc. The only reason why you want to visit this great place is because of the restaurant. The terrace and garden are so spectactular, you’ll must see it to believe it. The tables and the chairs are white, light blue or dark blue, it will make you feel like you are watching the peaceful sea. The people will make you feel at home as well, they are very friendly, they are always asking if everything is alright, if I want an other drink or if I need something else. A great service, it looks very simple, but where do you get this kind of service?
The menu is great, I have heard that this menu is constantly changing. I think that this is a great way to keep the people coming. That Friday night, I’ve decided that to choose for a glass of red wine and some sparkling water. The waiter recommended the mozzarella as a starter, because it is made by an Italian who is living on Ibiza for a couple years. And after I tasted the mozzarella, I had to admit that the waiter was right. What a nice mozzarella salad! It was very delicious and I will recommend everyone to pick this as a starter.
The main course was a great risotto! At La Paloma they do not have very large menu, but they made this choice with a reason. They only work with fresh ingredients and that is the reason that your food is always very delicious at La Paloma. It is a must visit if you are on Ibiza. If you are not hungry, but just want to sit down, rest for a minute and drink a small beer or wine, do it. In the garden you will find a great place to just sit and watch. As a writer, I would say that you will get some great inspiration from the view!
