Las Dalias Market

This very famous hippie market is worth a visit when you stay on Ibiza! Even in Holland we have heard about this market, in 2016 the Las Dalias market was in Amsterdam at the Westergasfabriek. But in Ibiza it is more intense, the weather is better and the market is mostly outside. What I really loved about Las Dalias, is that the people are so great. Everybody is happy to be here, the people who sell their products and the people that are visiting the market. You can feel the love..

This is the entrance of the Las Dalias Market and when you enter it, be prepared for the stands and the products you can buy. Las Dalias Market is located nearby Sant Carles, next to the PM-810. If you visit Las Dalias by car, you can park the car next to the market. You’ll have to pay €3,- and you can stay all day. Watch out that the car is really, really hot when you get back. There is no shadow to park your car, maybe that is the only thing I did not like about this day..

At the Las Dalias market in Ibiza, almost everything is possible. You can eat delicious food, you can buy Sal de Ibiza, you can buy beautiful bracelets, they sell nice beachbags, there is music, there is a carousel for the little ones and many more. The market has started on Valentine Day in 1985 and at that time it was not as big as it is now. On a Saturday almost 20.000 people will visit Las Dalias. Will you be the next one?

I’ll have to say, if you visit Ibiza, visit Las Dalias. If you do not like shopping, a lot of people in small ‘streets’ and if you want to be at the beach, please do not visit Las Dalias. It is a great day for people who want to see different people, different cultures and love to see a typical Ibiza market. So they choice is yours!
